Javier Monzón, economist, born in Madrid, is Chairman and CEO of Indra since the company’s foundation in 1993.
He has spent his career in the financial services and technology industries. He was CFO and Executive Vice President of Telefonica in charge of Corporate Development and International Operations.
Currently, he is also member of the Board of Directors of ACS, a worldwide leading construction group, and of Lagardère, the French media conglomerate. He is firmly committed to supporting entrepreneurship, technology development and excellence in education. Thus, he is Chairman of the Executive Committee of “Knowledge and Development Foundation”, Vice Chairman of the Board of Carlos III University and member of the Delegate Committee of “Prince of Girona Foundation” as well as Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce and board member of “Endeavor” in Spain.
