Tolls on five motorways in Ireland
Indra will install its toll systems in five of Ireland's main motorways: N25 Waterford; M7/M8 Portaloise; N6 Gallway; Eastlink; and M1 Drogheda. The country's primary corridors and nearly 100,000 vehicles per day will be managed with the most advanced toll systems.

Indra's systems are characterized by their quick and convenient management of toll charges, combining different payment systems -- manual, automatic or electronic -- enabling payment via radio frequency, without having to stop, at a passing speed of between 50 and 80 kilometres/hour. The system is reinforced with number plate detection systems, which make it possible to recognize abandoned vehicles and record their passing. They are also equipped with queue detection systems, which in the case of delays in the payment lanes, automatically send a notification to the National Road Authority (NRA) headquarters.
This is not the first time that the company develops this type of system in Ireland, country where it has already developed other traffic management systems, such as the project for the Dublin Port Tunnel's control and signalling.
