In 2001, Indra established Indra Systems, our first US subsidiary in Orlando, Florida, to better serve our Defense clients. Today, Indra Systems is an ISO 9001:2008 certified provider of simulation and training and automated test equipment for air, land, and sea platforms for both military and commercial applications. Serving as a Center of Excellence, Indra Systems provides on-site engineering, technical, and logistics services to both US and international defense and commercial customers.
In recent years, Indra has continued to grow in the Transport & Traffic sector with important references in tolling systems and automatic fare collection systems.
Due to Indra’s expansion in non-Defense sectors, a second subsidiary, Indra USA, was established in 2008 in Miami, Florida. Indra USA is structured to develop the Transport & Traffic, Energy & Utilities, Banking, Public Administration & Healthcare, and Homeland Security business areas, while Indra Systems continues to serve our Defense customers.
