Indra has had a quite active presence in China since 1989. In 1997 it was established the Representative Office of Indra Navia, and in 2000 that of Indra Sistemas. In 2002 was registered the fully owned subsidiary “Indra Information Technology Systems Co. Ltd.”, where a highly specialized team of professionals works across the areas of business development, management, and execution of projects.
Of the projects developed in China, we can highlight those in the areas of air traffic control, aeronautic simulation, traffic control systems for motorways and tunnels, railway access control systems and safety systems.
Aside from its headquarters in Beijing, Indra has on-site offices in several cities of China, where it is executing projects.

Additionally, it has a second office in Beijing for the Air Traffic Control department.
