Indra has had an active presence in China since 1997.
In 2000, it established a Representative Office in Beijing, and in 2002, it created its subsidiary Indra Information Technology Systems Co. Ltd, where a highly specialized team of professionals works, essentially focused on the areas of business development, management, and execution of projects.
Traffic control and safety, among other projects
Of the projects developed in China, we can highlight those in the areas of air traffic control, aeronautic simulation, traffic control systems for motorways and tunnels, railway access control systems and safety systems.
Aside from its headquarters in Beijing, Indra has project development offices in Chongqing, Beijing, Chengdu and Taiyuan, where it is executing projects in aeronautic simulation, overland traffic control, and railway access control. Additionally, it has a second office in Beijing for the Air Traffic Control department.
