Supporting the US Department of Defense since 1990

Nowdays, Indra provides on-site engineering, technical, and logistics services.
Homeland security works better with Indra
In the early 1990s, Indra commenced its activities in the United States by supporting the US Department of Defense in two business areas: flight simulation and automated test systems. Upon the successful conclusion of several contracts, in 2001, the firm established and incorporated Indra Systems in the State of Florida.
Today, Indra Systems, with headquarters in Orlando, Florida, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified provider of simulation and training and automated test equipment for air, land, and sea platforms for both military and commercial applications. In addition, the firm provides on-site engineering, technical, and logistics services to both US and international defense and commercial customers.
In order to grow the business expanding to new clients in diverse sectors, Indra established a complementary subsidiary, Indra USA, Inc., headquartered in Miami, Florida. Under this new structure, Indra Systems will continue to serve and develop the Defense Sector, while Indra USA will develop the Transportation & Traffic, Energy & Utilities, Banking, Public Administration & Healthcare, and Homeland Security business areas.
