At the forefront of electronic administration and digitalization.

Complete electronic administration system based on open source software developed for the Extremadura autonomous government. The initial implementation phase consists of the end-to-end data transmission of more than 100 procedures and will allow the management of all the documentation associated with the procedures carried out by citizens with the regional administration.

 

Users will be able to initiate remotely any of the 1,050 existing procedures. Certificates, permits, scholarship or subvention applications, paying taxes or applying for a social security card will be available, all of this without the need to go physically to the offices of the Extremadura Government. In addition, the legal validity of all transactions is guaranteed through the use of digital signature. Citizens will be able to register requests through several channels such as telephone, email, web. Even the integration of digital terrestrial television is being considered as a means of communication.

This project represents relevant experience allowing replication of this system in other administrations in Spain and elsewhere.

The AMARA platform addresses all the necessary elements to achieve the efficient completion of an e-Administration with full guarantees. AMARA brings the administration closer to citizens and integrates administrations, private sector and associations for a full service provision, improving both quality and efficiency. The platform offers the mechanisms that convert traditional offices into paper-free offices, paper processes into digital data, internal communication, with other offices and public bodies, into efficient and transparent processes.
