Corporate project at Banco Santander CSI
Indra is currently collaborating with Banco Santander in the Corporate Project of the Centralized Interchange Service Center (CSI: Servicios de Intercambio Centralizado), based on the technology of the Clear2Pay market product.
The project will centrally manage the operation of the different types of payments, for one or more banks belonging to the group:
- International: payments in foreign currency through correspondent banks, SWIFT messaging
- Domestic: (SNCE in Spain; BACS, CHAPS and FP in UK; GSIT in France, etc.)
- SEPA: transfers and direct debits (through Iberpay, EBA, Equeens)
- Other Pan-European clearing houses: STEP1, STEP2, EURO1, TARGET2
The most relevant functionalities of the project are:
- Operation routing services to the most adequate means (clearing house or RTGS), according to priority rules.
- Agreements among banks, correspondent banks and clients.
- Messages formatting, interchange, clearing between banks.
- Conciliation, accounting, settlement with the clearing houses.
- Clear2Pay
