Indra wins the SAP Award for Excellence for its project in Técnicas Reunidas

Indra has been awarded the "Best Reference" for its SAP ERP implementation project in Técnicas Reunidas.

Some of the criteria assessed by SAP to award Indra this prize were: the strategic nature of the sector and solution to the company, project quality, proper use of remote services, client satisfaction and use of Safe Guarding services.

The industrial engineering company Técnicas Reunidas chose Indra in 2004 to upgrade its corporate management systems by implementing an ERP in line with its quality strategy, in order to optimize its business processes by introducing the competitive advantages offered by the new information technologies. A key project for the OPV process successfully carried out by the company in June 2006, just a few months after implementing the new systems.

Choosing Indra was based on its close collaboration with Técnicas Reunidas in planning its technological evolution over the last few years.
 

Iberia.com, prize winner in the awards for "The 100 Best Ideas in 2008" by "Actualidad Económica"

The new functionalities of Iberia.com, developed by Indra, won the prize for "The 100 best ideas of the year" in September 2009,  awarded every year by the "Actualidad Económica" magazine. The publication selected the most outstanding innovations launched on the market in 2008 by Spanish companies, including the Spanish airline's website.

The innovations of Iberia's website include the incorporation of a new tool that allows clients to set the highest price they are willing to pay for a flight beforehand, by introducing a geographic area (Spain, Europe, Central America, Northern Africa), and estimated dates.

Similarly, for those who travel with more luggage than allowed by their ticket at no cost, Iberia has created a solution for them to pay excess baggage ahead of time on the website with a 30% discount on what it would cost to do so at the airport.

Indra has been collaborating with Iberia on the innovation, development and maintenance of functionalities associated with the company's eBusiness strategy on the different portals (Iberia.com, Iberia Plus Empresa and Iberia Agencias) since 1999.
