Thanks to the contribution of these and other page innovations, Iberia.com has been given several important online innovation awards at Spanish and international levels.

Among one of the latest solutions developed by Indra, Iberia.com customers can determine, in advance, the maximum price they want to spend on the flight, either for a specific area or destination, or at date that can be more or less flexible.

Answering simple questions such as origin and destination, departure and return dates (with a flexibility of up to seven days or the most advantageous combination), and the maximum sum available, the customer views an interactive map with the search results and may continue with the ticket booking and purchase.

Another innovation is the possibility of searching the most economic flights for the upcoming weekends, departing on Fridays and returning on Sundays, or the possibility of extending these days to depart on Thursday and return on Monday. Likewise, the application shows an interactive map with the best alternatives.

These developments complement the ones carried out by Indra to achieve a better positioning with search engines (SEO). They allow the user to have direct access to the company's best prices, from enquiries performed over the search portals, significantly increasing the sale exchange ratio.
Iberia.com, which billed more than 500 million Euros in ticket sales from January to October 2008, has an average of 325,000 daily visits.
