As a result of its cooperation with Indra, Teka Industrial, a major Spanish manufacturer of kitchen appliances, has implemented a solution that addresses the management needs of the raw material supply for production.

The solution implemented is web-based and integrated with the corporate ERP. It increases the perceived value of the business relationships between TEKA and its suppliers, aiming at improving the supply process management, considering the following as paramount objectives:

• Controlling and improving the processes related to the raw material supply
• Visualizing the related processes to achieve a better dialogue with the suppliers
• Eliminating manual processes that may cause mistakes and administrative tasks that do not add value
   

The process between the parties gains in visibility and cooperation, and is thus improved. It is also equipped with tools that simplify provisioning optimization.

Within the functional scope of the solution the following processes are taken into consideration:
 

• Planning: better planning on behalf of the supplier. It is more synchronized based on reliable and updated information, thus providing a more optimal and efficient planning cycle.
• Orders: automatic supply management, error reduction and order cycle optimization.
• Delivery negotiation: supplier's response regarding the order: accepting, rejecting or requesting changes.
• Shipping notices: automatic reception, in-transit material visibility and early identification of inconsistencies.
