The project aims at providing Hesperia Hotels with a new reporting tool. This tool is based on the last version of SAP BW that will allow taking the maximum advantages of the new functionalities supplied by the current version, migrating the existing information while broadening the range of information obtained.

The main areas involved were the Sales and Marketing departments. Both were provided with a tool to dynamically obtain added hotel chain operation reports.

The project covered the definition and implementation of data cubes as well as their features and ratios, which allowed generating a whole set of reports to provide support to the information needs of said departments.

During the project, a data model was defined to address tool evolutive needs over time by adding new areas and processes to the business fields included in the project.

Moreover, an illustrative report set was defined to cover the operations of the departments involved.

Hoteles Hesperia is a Spanish hotel company devoted to both vacation and urban hotel business. Nowadays, the company has more than 55 hotels, in several European and Caribbean countries.
