Indra receives the Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon
It is an excellence award for the company's participation in the MK 15 project (March 2010).
In a ceremony at the Gillete Stadium in Boston (USA), Raytheon awarded Indra the Excellence award for its participation in the MK 15 project.
The MK 15 systems supplied by Indra are in service by the navies of Australia, Spain, the United States, and Korea. Throughout more than ten years and to this date, more than 74 MK 15 systems have been delivered, of which 63% were provided to the US Navy.
This award, given by one of the largest technological manufacturers in the world, recognizes Indra's participation in the development of the AEGIS system, and has been granted in light of three control factors: meeting deadlines, continuous quality and commitment in the process of continuous improvement.
The four star accreditation given to Indra is the result of having obtained, throughout all of 2009, high levels of control factor fulfillment, exceeding 97%.
