Satellite Communication systems for France
Indra has provided the French Ministry of Defense with 25 mobile tactical communication systems by using the two-satellite of the Syracuse III network.
The network allows solid and safe communication between France and forces deployed across the planet.

The system's main advantages are:
- the possibility of using either military or civil frequency bands.
- transportability
- the ease with which they can be deployed and taken down; it would take only two operators to have them ready in 15 minutes.
The Syracuse III satellite system is regarded as the communications center of the French Army, and was designed to withhold strong interference and potential countermeasures intented to interrupt communications.
Indra's systems are capable of establishing voice and data bidirectional communications at 2 Mbps. This speed is one of the highest to be found among this type of satellites.
