Environmental Infrastructure Management
Indra takes part in the automatic hydrological information systems since the beginning of the Andalusian inundation prevention plan "Plan de Prevención de Avenidas e Inundaciones" put into place in the 80s, with implementations at diverse hydrological river basins.
Within the water resources area, Indra provides solutions that allow a sustainable use of water by means of advanced monitoring and modelling techniques:
- Web-based information systems of the hydrological basin status
- Remote detection systems of surfaces covered with snow and its development over time
- Automatic hydrological information systems (SAIHs)
- Radio communication networks that provide assistance to the management/exploitation
Within the environmental management area, we offer integrated pollution surveillance, control and follow-up systems: water quality, air quality, industrial spillages control, radiology warning and noise pollution.
