Supply and installation of SACTA III (Automatic Spanish Air Traffic Control System) automation equipment in the new ACC to provide ATC service for the entire eastern region of Spain.

Indra has implemented the air traffic management systems for the new Barcelona Control Centre, located in Gavá. This control center is responsible for the entire eastern region, one of the largest airspaces in Spain, and controls more than 700,000 operations each year.
Indra has supplied the Barcelona-Gavá Control Center with one of the most modern systems currently in existence, a world reference in terms of interoperability that has been operating perfectly since February of 2005. The system incorporates the latest revision of the SACTA system (revision III) and includes 20 dual control positions for en-route control (40 CWP) and 10 for approach control (20 CWP).
Additionally, the Gavá Control Center is linked to a Simulation Centre with 10 dual control positions (20 CWP) and 20 pseudo-pilot positions.
- More modern
- Operating perfectly
- Worldwide reference
