Technology in Mumbai monorail and Delhi metro
Indra will install its access control and ticketing systems in Mumbai's future monorail and in Delhi's Airport express metro line. The project requires the start-up of a control centre, where the activity of all 18 stations of the monorail network will be supervised.
On another hand, Delhi Airport Express Pvt. Ltd. commissioned Indra the implementation of its systems in the new line that will link the country’s capital to the Indira Ghandi international airport, covering 22 km and six stations.
Indra will manufacture part of the systems in India, and it will also maintain a stable presence in order to provide future maintenance services. With this strategy, Indra advances toward its objective of becoming a global company, with the capacity to provide direct and nearby service wherever its clients operate.
