Installation of the DA VINCI platform in the Spanish railway system

The integral railway technological platform developed by Indra supports and manages the entire railway operation life cycle.

It is a system that began to be developed in 2000, and it is currently the platform selected by ADIF (Spain's Administrator of Railway Infrastructures) to manage all the high-speed railways.

DA VINCI is equipped with the most advanced technology. It is based on standard integration systems that have been tested on mixed traffic lines, and it has the advantage of providing high stability because of its proprietary architecture and an independent hardware platform.

It is the only system that currently integrates ETCS and GSM-R systems, and that offers full coverage of all the railway management processes.

Since 2003, Indra has been awarded the installation of the DA VINCI platform in the following railway connections:

  • Zaragoza (2003): LAV Madrid-Barcelona-France Control Centre
  • Madrid (2004): Regulation and control system for the stretch of La Sagra–Toledo–Madrid high-speed railway–Toledo
  • Antequera (2006): Córdoba-Málaga Control Centre
  • Segovia (2007): Madrid-Valladolid Control Centre

Other DA VINCI system references:
