Madrid|Barajas’ Dashboard
Madrid-Barajas Airport improves the performance of its real-time operations with an Airport Dashboard developed by Indra.
The role of Operations Centres has changed: it is no longer simply preparing a schedule and allocating resources. Now, it is all about fostering collaboration between stakeholders and optimizing the turnaround process in real-time.
The operation of the fourth biggest European airport, Madrid-Barajas, has become more visual and dynamic thanks to the Dashboard Application, graphically depicting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in real time. The performance of the airport processes achieves a global improvement, increasing the shared situational awareness, the predictability and the responsiveness. The Dashboard allows the further alignment of capacity and demand.
The Airport Dashboard System is especially useful in control centres as the Madrid-Barajas’ AMC, where it is necessary to visualise the key information inside a huge amount of available data.
The human-machine interface is web-based, so it can be easily used from any web browser, or projected using a VideoWall. Indicators and visualisations are tailored according to specific operational needs.
