Cybersecurity

In Indra, Cybersecurity is understood as the set of technologies, processes, procedures and services aimed at protecting the assets (physical, logical, or of services) of an enterprise or organization, and which depend on a ICT infrastructure to some extent. Three goals:

1. Reducing the vulnerabilities of ICT/ICS systems.
2. Protecting the information assets of the enterprise/organization.
3. Guaranteeing the business continuity and/or the service to customer/citizen.

The shift from large industrial analog systems to the ICT realm, and the increasing interconnections between them, implies higher risks and added complexity of the technological solutions. To cope with current specialization necessity of each sector, Indra has developed sectorial solutions in the cybersecurity field:

  • Cybersecurity for the citizen. Integral protection of the citizen who operates through the Internet in cooperation with the Public Administration and enterprises: digital identity (e-Id, e-passport), fast border crossing, electronic signature, early warning centers (CERTs) and information for the citizenship …
  • Cybersecurity for the organizations. Complete solution for private and public organizations: Development and deployment of security director plans, operation of Security Offices, Managed Security, deployment of cybersecurity infrastructure and solutions, consultancy and audit, training …
  • Critical Infrastructure Protection. Protection of systems and networks of critical infrastructures: Development and deployment of cybersecurity plans for nuclear power plants, control systems, refineries, gas pipelines, dams and water supply systems, electric grids, etc.
  • Cyberdefense. Solutions designed to protect infrastructures for national defense, implement cyberwarfare, fight against cyberterrorism and develop early warning and response centers, accreditation of systems and products to manage classified information.
