According to the latest figures, Indra maintains its trend in the business innovation rankings developed and published each year by the European Commission. In 2011, the last year analyzed, Indra consolidates its strong position in the European ranking of its sector (Software & computer services), as well as its placing in the European and World´s rankings.
Open and networked innovation represents a key pillar for Indra´s internationalization. The significant increase in international sales has been accompanied by a similar development of the main innovation-related indicators ( alliances, agreements with innovation and knowledge institutions and R & D investment ).
Over the last decade, Spain has been making an increasing effort in regards to R&D investment. Indra has been keeping up to this challenge by maintaining its leading role in the Spanish innovation.
