Since the launch of the first satellite into space last century, the increasing importance of space-related technologies in the military domain has been acknowledged globally. Indra is the leader in Spain in the use of space technology applied to military operations.
For over three decades, Indra has developed a wide range of military satellite communication terminals, which it sells all over the world. Indra designs complete satellite communication networks with network management and develops terrestrial, naval and submarine terminals and airborne SATCOM terminals.
We have the technological capacity and engineering required to implement satellite communication systems, satisfying the communication needs of the armed forces.
Currently, we provide satellite terminals for naval and terrestrial applications, including man-pack equipment and SATCOM “on the move” (SOTM) and SATCOM “on the pause” (SOTP) terminals. We are also developing an airborne solution for the A400M and specific solutions for UAV, including the analysis of alternatives for integration in the controlled air space.
We are also very present in land observation satellite applications. We develop and supply advanced solutions in the land control segment for clients in over 20 countries, including: EUTELSAT, EUMETSAT, EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY, HISPASAT, telecommunications operators, Environmental Ministries and Air Navigation Agencies.
