The Workshop on Cyber Situational Awareness (CSA), organized by Indra, has the goal to bring together main stakeholders of the defence sector into an open discussion point analyzing the current status, innovation paths and challenges European Cyber Situational Awareness technologies are facing around the defence ecosystem. The workshop will put into debate the importance of building digital capacities in the technological domain in such a way that acquiring cyber situational awareness will drive increased planning and response capabilities of military actions against cyber threats in the tactical domain. Besides providing innovative technologies to acquire a cyber operational picture such as disruptive military communications or enhanced processing capabilities in the tactical edge, supporting the commander in decision making becomes the most critical condition to be analyzed given the complexity of today’s operational environments. Our invited experts in the sector will critically assess possible directions and future research paths defence stakeholders should consider ahead of strengthening capability building to meet the European outlook on technology breakthroughs.

This event is supported by the European Cyber Situational Awareness Platform (ECYSAP) project, which has received funding from the European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) under grant agreement Nº EDIDP-CSAMN-SSC-2019-022-ECYSAP.
