Beatriz, Chemical Engineering.
Functional Consultant in Technology Solutions Area
I´m from
Spain.
I studied
Chemical Engineering.
I travelled to
Austin, Texas (USA).
A custom that surprised me:
The individuality and independence of people. Also, I was struck by the entrepreneurial spirit of the people.
My favourite place:
A restaurant called McCormick&Schmick's.
The greatest difficulty I encountered and how I resolved it:
The time they give you for exams, very short compared to what they give you in Spain. By practicing and knowing the material, I learned to finish exams in the time allotted.
What you need to know in order to interact well:
Living with yourself.
You can´t leave without
Mixing with people from there, learning the local customs.
What I learned during my international experience that has most helped me at Indra.
Mixing with people from there, learning the local customs.
A recommendation for people willing to live the experience.
Enjoying and learning from the quality of teaching provided in the USA: the enthusiasm of the professors when they're explaining the material, their availability to students, the way they stimulate students to do new things and demand that everyone work to their maximum potential.
