Competition
The objective of the Indra Future Minds Competition is to find bright, innovative people who are passionate about technology and new challenges.
Students from different universities around the world participate to solve several challenges based on Indra real projects.
Participants have to demonstrate their capacity for teamwork and skills with new technologies. Furthermore the solution proposed to the challenges must be original, sustainable and rigorous.
Who is it for?
Students from technical studies such as computer engineering, telecommunications, industrial engineering… Students in their final year of studies with good academic records.
Participants must have initiative, high English level, and good social and communication skills.
Stages
Virtual Stage
March 11th - 29th
Students work with people from another country, setting up multicultural teams.
Through new technologies and team working, they have to solve one challenge based on a project or business of Indra.
They have to take in consideration the principles that define the Indra´s corporative culture: originality, sensibility, rigor and determination.
4 universities reach the onsite stage.
Onsite Stage
Until April 24
Winners of the virtual stage will attend the final, which takes place in the indra sede in Brazil.
Teams compete between each other in two stages (semi-final and final). First and second classified teams will have the opportunity to work in Indra, in one of the countries involved in the competition.
Video Voting
April 25th and 26th
Students will make a video related to the challenge chosen in the virtual stage.
This video will be published on our website to be voted.
The group of the video with the most votes will receive an iPod.
Awards
Classified teams:
A trip to the final for the classified teams that includes:
Round trip tickets in economy class.
Accommodation during the competition
One iPad for each participant of these teams.
First place team:
Indra´s commitment to hire the students (after earning their university degree) in the country they select among the Indra´s subsidiaries involved in the competition.
+ Initial travel expenses: plane ticket, travel insurance and third party insurance, visa processing.
+ Travel assistance:600€ gross each month for one year (legally established withholding will be applied).
+ Two plane tickets (at 6 and 12 months) to their home city during the first year.
Second place team:
Indra´s commitment to hire the students (after earning their university degree) in the country they select among the Indra´s subsidiaries involved in the competition.
+ Initial travel expenses: plane ticket, travel insurance and third party insurance, visa processing.
