The project, which amounts to more than €2M, will support the whole business life cycle from production planning to credit control, at both national and international levels

The solution designed by the IT company, incorporates the latest technologies to facilitate information integration for the different departments

Indra, the premier IT company in Spain and a leading IT multinational in Europe, was selected by Union Fenosa Gas to implement the new model of the information systems that will thoroughly support the management of its business life cycle at both national and international levels. The contract amounts to more than ¬2M and is to be concluded in a year.

The systems map designed by Indra, incorporates the latest available technologies so that the different departments of the company may have access and share the information required for daily operations in compliance with the criteria and access levels previously defined by the management team.

The project will support the operator’s business life cycle, from production planning and procurement to credit control. It includes integration of solutions for procurement management, maritime transport, market analysis, stock valuation, gas market operation and trading (energy transaction, contracts, balances, demand forecast, etc.).

Besides this, the IT company will implement a records management for the creation of a unique repository updated with Union Fenosa Gas’ corporate information and a CRM platform to manage clients and campaigns for billing and collection followup.

With nearly 120 clients in more than 30 countries across the world, Indra has a strong position in the utilities market. Regarding the gas market specifically, Indra has carried out projects for Gas Natural, Reganosa (regasification plant of liquefied natural gas in Galicia) Enagas, Repsol, Endesa, Petrobrás (Brazil), Galp (Portugal), Isagen (Colombia) or Segas, Union Fenosa Gas’s liquefied natural gas plant in Damietta (Egypt).
