The project, one of the most relevant in the Latin American telecommunications market for the IT company, was awarded for US$ 16M

Indra, the premier Information Technology company in Spain and a leading IT multinational in Europe and Latin America will start the implementation of an integral Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform complemented with a leading-edge integration platform which enables interaction with the remaining business systems of Bogotá Telecommunications company (ETB), supplier of integral solutions in landline telephony and internet. Indra was awarded the US$ 16 M project, which is one of the most relevant in the Latin American telecommunications market for the IT company.

Indra has designed a state-of-the-art CRM platform which will be integrated with the business support systems for more effectiveness in rendering customer service to more than 2 million and a half internet and landline telephony users. Improvement in customer service, segment-oriented offers, centralised management of information or the integration of commercial operations with data analysis systems are the main benefits of the project. Furthermore, it also incorporates mobility technology so that almost 1000 salespeople gain access to the information, regardless of their location.

Indra’ solution is based on Oracle’s Siebel 8.0 and on TIBCO’s EAI platform (Enterprise Application Integration). This solution speeds up decision-making thanks to its predictive analyses in real time and is widely supported by web services so that all channels of interaction with clients can benefit from CRM besides connecting with other functions and systems of the company. Its environment is open and scalable according to the business needs and capable of providing new applications with support.

Bogota Telecommunications company is one of the most important in the country in its sector and offers integral solutions of landline telephony and internet. It is also one of Colombia’s main Internet and data services suppliers, with over 300.000 clients and over 2 million landline users in Bogotá. It is also one of the main competitors in either national or international long distance services.
