A different concept of security

Date -Hour

Tuesday, 26 October, 2010

Leon will host for the 4th consecutive year on October 26, 27 and 28, the national Meeting of the Security Industry in Spain (ENISE), which is organised by the National Communications Technology Institute (INTECO). The approach of the new edition has changed significantly as the event has become a must for the security sector. This time with the slogan ‘Nuevas Fronteras de la Ciberseguridad’ (New concept of cyber security) the event seeks to be ineludible for the main agents of the sector (Industry, R&D, public administrations, users, etc.), not only for Ibero-America but also for EU. ENISE will address the broadening of the concept and study its position (taking into account aspects which demand an integral approach) as well as the diversification of threats to all sorts of people or organisations either public or private.

During the event different topics will be addressed. The first day, activities will focus on National Security outlines, covering significant issues such as secure public electronic services to citizens and companies, standardisation, product evaluation and certification (goods and services) or risk management. The second day will be dedicated to justice, liberty and security within the 2009-2012 strategic programme of justice modernisation. It seeks to expedite and enhance reliability in judicial procedures.  Regarding the last day, digital identity will be addressed as an elementary aspect of the Digital agenda of Europe, as foreseen by the European Commission.

Security nowadays and the application of CIT will be the most significant topic to be addressed. Indra will attend the event and will present a wide variety of projects and solutions for the sector. The forth edition will include a novelty: a concourse of ideas with awards to the most innovative and functional service based on the Electronic Identity card.
