The Spanish Nuclear Society will celebrate in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, its 36th annual meeting, from the 6 to 8 of October. At the event, professionals and companies of the sector will be able to analyse the current condition of nuclear energy and its future challenges.

The opening and closing acts will be the reference institutional points of this fascinating meeting. The attendance of Mayor of Santiago de Compostela Xosé A. Sánchez Bugallo and outstanding figures of the administration and energy institutions is confirmed.

The speeches will deal with interesting topics such as energy and the electric vehicle or the Centralised Storage Facility (ATC). Attendees, Indra among them with a wide range of technology solutions for the energy sector, will be able to participate in monographic sessions or courses about fuel, communication, dismantling, fusion, R&D, nuclear medicine and other applications.

The meeting will finish with a basic course on science and nuclear technology conducted by Asociación de Jóvenes Nucleares and a round table about saving and energy efficiency under the guidance of WiN Spain.

The programme will also offer visitors the possibility to visit some of the most beautiful sites in Santiago de Compostela, since the event coincides with the city’s celebration of the Holy Year.
