Indra, along with other companies, will sponsor the XXIV meeting of Telecommunications in Santander. The event, organised by Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, will take place from August 30th to September 2nd at the Paraninfo building, the Magdalena Palace.
Under the direction of Jesús Banegas, AETIC’s Chairman, the event seeks to offer a unique chance to analyse the current situation of technology in Spain and to lay the basis for future development in harsh economic conditions. The situation should not be considered a hindrance for the development of technologies. Instead, technologies should be approached as a necessary means to solve the situation.
During the conferences and colloquiums professionals of the sector will address advances in: high speed networks, energy savings in distribution, transport and logistics networks as well as homes and buildings, or the use of the electronic ID card and digital contents. These advances could be used to boost competition to favour the creation of new world-class technology industries.
