Last Friday EUROSATORY 2010, the international fair of defence held in Paris, concluded. Indra participated with a stand located in the Spain pavilion which was coordinated by TEDAE.
During the event Indra revealed the deployment of its UAVs solutions (unmanned vehicles), for instance, the scale model of the PELICANO and MANTIS helicopters, which caught visitors' attention. Besides this, other developments of the company were exhibited such as a replica of the CBRN lab, recently acquired by Turkey; self defence systems like threat detection systems for TIGRE helicopters or the AMIGOS system; GESTA, a ground electronic warfare system; FAMET's simulation centre and the LANZA radar for air surveillance.
From the first day, delegations from several countries, mainly Saudi Arabia, Brazil or Algeria showed interest in Indra's offer.
At the head of the Spanish delegation was LTG José Manuel García Sieiro, who was received by Carlos Suarez, Indra's General Director of Defence and Air Traffic. The highest authorities of different departments of the Spanish Ministry of Defence (EMACON, EME, MALE, ETC.) also attended the event.
