The Third ICT and Sustainability Forum, "The Granada Strategy: The Key to a Sustainable Economy",  will take place on May 20 and 21 at the Barceló Renacimiento Hotel Convention Center, on the Isla de la Cartuja in Seville. The event is being organized by the Spanish Association of Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications Companies and the Innovation, Science and Enterprise Department of the Regional Government of Andalusia.

The meeting aims to be consistent with the Granada Strategy for a truly Digital Europe, defining the contribution of ICTs in the new production model, which should move toward the achievement of a sustainable economy in economic, social and environmental terms. To this end, it will address the pillars of a new knowledge- and information-based society, with stable, quality employment, in which ICTs are established as an essential tool for energy efficiency and the reduction of GHG emissions.

Topics such as "Intelligent Water Resources Management", "Energy Efficiency for Utilities", "Smart Building: Sustainable Urban Design", "e-Car: Connection of Electric Cars to the Net" and "Green IT", will be discussed at this forum, at which Indra will be presenting a sample of its wide range of solutions in the energy sector and its commitment to sustainability.
