On 25, 26 and 27 May, Amsterdam with host WCIT 2010, the World Congress on Information Technology. Indra will participate by virtue of its extensive experience in the sector. The protagonist of this seventeenth edition of the congress will be ICT as an enabler for economic growth and wealth creation.
Under the central theme of Challenges of Change, the Congress will tackle the importance of ICT and the need to search for ways to provide ICT a prominent role in the current economic crisis facing Europe and the rest of the world.
2010 also marks the focus year of the European i2010 Program, which seeks to make the information society a key element of the Lisbon strategy for growth and employment. WCIT 2010 will therefore be the ideal opportunity to showcase the results and also to look ahead to the ambitions of the European Commission. On the agenda of WCIT 2010 will be technology issues of global importance, such as energy, water, life and mobility. It is a unique opportunity to learn more about the technology of today and tomorrow, hand in hand with captains of industry, government leaders and academics.
