The IFEMA Trade Fair Center in Madrid has been chosen to host the 10th Spanish ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Congress, to be held from May 11 to 13 in the Spanish capital, with the collaboration of Indra. The aim of the event is to provide the perfect setting for the presentation of solutions that make use of the synergies created in the transportation sector with regard to ITS applications.
ITSs are a reality today, with proven and demonstrable value for society, as they provide systems and solutions that facilitate safe, sustainable, efficient and comfortable passenger transportation. The cost-benefit ratio of many of these systems suggests that investments in this area will continue to rise in the future.
An indication of the growing implementation of these applications was the 2009 edition of the Spanish ITS Conference. Important agreements were reached at last year's conference, confirming it as a key event for professionals in the sector.
