Thursday, 29 April, 2010

Indra is one of the companies taking part in the third edition of the Montevideo Justice and Technology Fair, which will take place from 28 to 30 April in the Uruguayan capital as part of the Latin American Judicial Summit.

The objective of the III Justice and Technology Fair is encouraging the exchange of of know-how and good practice in technology applied to judicial systems by providing a forum for sharing knowledge and lessons learnt. Judicial agents are aware that technological upgrade is one of the main challenges in the Latin American agenda for judicial reform. This area is likely to see significant investment over the coming years, a process that requires major decisions which must be both measured and well founded.

Accordingly, for the first time there will be private stands at the Fair this year, with a view to adding other sectors, above all applied technology companies. This will be major players in this scenario, as their contributions and know-how represent a high added value resource. The Organisation hopes that the new format will become a platform that offers attractive opportunities for all participants.

Indra will be organising a workshop and setting up an information stand on the application of its IT solutions in the sphere of justice and public administration. It will also be hosting a conference on ‘Procedural and organisational reengineering and IT in 21st century society.’
