In its commitment to quality and security, Indra, a leading global aerospace, defence and mobility technology engineering company, is working to certify that its infrastructure management platform, Horus, meets the most rigorous cybersecurity standards.

The company is in the final phase of the certification process of its technology platform at the highest demand level of the international standard IEC 62443, which establishes best practices for increasing security of control systems and components of industrial automation against cyber threats.

Horus is Indra's multi-modal and interoperable platform that enables real-time unified infrastructure operation and complete automation of incident response. Its high integration capacity and flexibility make it an ideal system for managing highways and roads, as well as tunnels, buildings, stations and terminals in urban environments, offering maximum safety and efficiency in operation and the highest service quality to the end user.

It offers a high integration capacity with existing systems through the use of standard protocols, autonomy for modeling of integrated devices, prediction and prognosis data analytics, automation of multi-modal operations and comprehensive emergency management.

Throughout this integrated ecosystem, cybersecurity is critical, and Indra is leveraging the IEC 62443 framework to identify and mitigate any vulnerabilities. It is doing so with the highest demand level, seeking certification at the highest security level of five, with increasing requirements defined by this standard aimed at product suppliers and system integrators.

Once certified, the Horus platform, already recognized as one of the most advanced in the world in operation, will take a qualitative leap forward in guaranteeing the highest level of security, both in compliance with requirements and in treatment of the secure development life cycle. It will also become one of the first software platforms in this country to comply with these standards.
