6 March 2015Germany
  • The system provides global coverage for hotel chain operations, at both centralized and individual hotel levels, in a unified way
  • Several international hotel chains with hotels in over 25 countries already use this platform and benefit from lower operating costs
  • Indra participates in ITB, the leading international trade fair for the tourism sector, which this week brings together 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries

Indra will present at the ITB, the main fair in Europe for the tourism industry held in Berlin until March 8th, its Tourism Management Suite (TMS), the global solution for managing hotel chains. This system has already been successfully implemented by several international chains, resulting in significant cuts to operating costs and proving to be a highly efficient tool for improving hotel service management and marketing.

In this important meeting point for the sector, which hosts over 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, the company, with the backing of Tourespaña, will present the innovations of its powerful platform, TMS, designed to offer integrated management for hotel chains, from administrative processes to hotel front-office tasks, reservations centers and online marketing.

The platform, based upon the SAP NetWeaver platform, which is also completely integrable within the SAP ERP solution, offers many modules that function autonomously or that may be fully integrated, covering within a single environment any global need inherent to ERP systems (Finance, Controlling, HR, etc.) as well as all of those that are specific to the hotel sector (Reception (PMS), Events, Loyalty, POS, Restaurant services, Spa, Reservations, etc.) and for online marketing (OTAS connectivity, B2C, B2B, MyEvents, MyStay, etc.)

In addition to the global focus oriented at hotel chain management that provides both a centralized and detailed vision and management of all operations of the different hotels and lines of business, TMS stands out for its open and highly configurable design, which makes it much simpler for our clients to decide how to adapt TMS to their business. This permits them to use IT as a key element for innovation and competitiveness in the changing and highly competitive current setting.

Indra maximizes the efficiency of processes supported by TMS by implementing Best Practices as well as by its continuous commitment to innovation and the development of its solution's scope. This in addition to SAP’s commitment to continuously developing its Platform (Hana, UX, Fiori, etc.) and ERP solution. This allows the company to offer the market a differentiated and singular value proposal.

By implementing TMS, hotel chains can minimize operating costs and improve management, while simultaneously deleting all interfaces across the different systems usually used for responding to their business requirements, as well as obtain real-time data to implement real-time management in an aggregated way and on a detailed level, for the entirety of chain operations.

The NH Hotel Group, Hoteles Catalonia or H10 are just a sample of the companies that have trusted in the Indra solution to optimize business processes and achieve the maximum benefit from its competitive advantages.
