After a private meeting with the Ukrainian authorities, Indra has demonstrated its commitment to being a leading company in the Spanish defence industry by organizing the first “Spain-Ukraine Industrial and Technological Meeting”, an open forum between President Zelenski and representatives of the Spanish defense industry to discuss how to strength the collaboration between both Defense industries, an initiative that has the strong support of the Spanish Government. Additionally, both parties have committed to removing obstacles, promoting cooperation, and protecting shared technologies through various initiatives. Representatives from the following Spanish companies have been present at the meeting: Arquimea Group, Centum, EM&E Group, FECSA, GMV, Instalaza, Marine Instruments, Meltio, Oesia, Sener, Tecnove, Urovesa and Indra Group itself.
Accompanied by the Spanish Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles, and Indra´s representatives, President Zelenski have seen firsthand different defense systems, including the following:
- LTR-25: Unique radar in its segment and one of the most advanced in use in the Armed Forces, it is a software-defined, deployable tactical 3D aerial surveillance system. It is designed to detect and track targets in adverse environments with friend-or-foe identification (IFF), in air defence network missions, and early warning of threats such as aircraft, drones or tactical missiles. It allows for rapid transport (by road, air or sea) and deployment in less than an hour and a half.
- C-UAS ARACNE: Comprehensive solution for detecting, tracking and neutralizing UAS threats. It has a command-and-control center that ensures interoperability with other platforms. It has an advanced set of sensors: a radio frequency detector, a radar that detects drones and an electrooptical camera for positive visual identification. It includes a jammer (soft kill) and weapon station (hard kill).
- ODIN-I: Modular, multi-effect system including a remotely controlled weapon station that allows for multiple deployment and mobility options. It can be placed on a military support vehicle or a trailer system, allowing for easy deployment in the field. It is capable of performing a wide range of functions, such as protection against short-range land, air, and sea threats, with proven high operational accuracy.
- UGV+Nemus: UGV capable of accessing complex areas equipped with compact NEMUS AESA radar, with projectile and drone detection capabilities. This radar is designed to be integrated into fixed or mobile C-AUS systems and future combat vehicles. The modular platform can integrate remote weapon stations and various payloads.
