Project Description
The objective of the DYSLEXTEST project is to create a web portal that contains an eLearning tool in which dyslexia patients can perform exercises designed and recommended by specialist therapists, and also to provide quality information for patients as well as professionals. It will include a tool that is able to monitor the effectiveness of the applied teaching methods and the entire system.
The aim is for the portal to become a centre of reference for interested parties, from which to obtain information, provide recommendations, contact therapists and facilitate access for people with disabilities to a specific, high quality treatment, based on exercises that have been specifically designed according to their age or current degree of dysfunction.
The web portal will include the following functionalities and tools:
- An eLearning tool so that patients may perform exercises designed and recommended by specialist therapists, according to their age and degree of disability.
- Quality information, which is very important for patients, parents, and family members, as well as for professionals (instructors and therapists).
- A tool that allows to monitor the effectiveness of the applied teaching methods and the entire system.
- A methodology and multidimensional statistical model that will enable effective optimisation.
- A contact point between parents and therapists.
- A website that explains the portal´s objectives and the tools that comprise it (in English, Czech and Spanish).
