SESAR JU (SESAR Joint Undertaking) recently announced the winners of the awards that they are presenting for the most effectively managed projects in 2012. Indra was honoured with the Outstanding Project Award. The Flight Object IOP System Requirement and Validation Project rose to the technological challenge of providing flexible mechanisms to reinforce collaborative decision-making and improving the interoperability of flight information. The project is particularly complex because it requires high-scale integration between the air traffic management systems of various navigation service providers. The judges stated that the project contributes to the "innovative SESAR concept that represents a step forwards towards reaching interoperability between systems".
